Lab Results are Back

Blood test results are all within low normal ranges which is good. The best news is that currently, there are no leukemia blasts in his blood! The doctor also put Jesse on an antibiotic for his cough & precautionary measures. So, we can leave Monday without those concerns.

Yesterday, Jesse asked me, “Mom, have you been bitten by the Hawaii bug?”. I smiled when he said that he had. 🙂

Thank you Lord for Jesse’s good test results and for fulfilling his and his family’s dream about the upcoming trip to Maui. O God, we thank you the hope-filled future for Jesse, Scott, Ingrid, and Savannah, for the certain hope that we have in you for all we need in this life and for eternity. We swing wide the gate of the New Year, Lord, as we set our minds on the things of God and enter the challenges set before us. Let Jesse and us gather every day of the coming years unto meaning, so that he, his family, all his friends, spend their moments and hours be God-honoring, beginning with this first act of worship in all the years to come. Dear Lord, we pray for the union of Jesse’s family through the grace of Jesus Christ. Strengthen their faith, O Lord, and grant them each day the opportunity to share their blessings with others. Lord, help Jesse and us to grasp the depth of your love and let him sense the times that you draw near, and lead him to bring you delight. Loving God, surround Jesse and us who are insecure and in pain with your love and presence for ever. We finished 24 hours of prayer with a special worship in your, Jesse’s, honor at Westwood Baptist Church and as always your name and your family was on top of our prayer list. Have a wonderful, safe trip. In Christ, hermann
