1st stop ~ Juneau, Alaska

The onset of snow capped mountains in the distance was a glorious view! As we approached, the more majestic they became. The base of the seascape is lined with rugged rocks and small pines. I am in awe of the lush green blanket of trees covering the mountains. The glistening white caps are like icing on the cake!

How beautiful. There are such gorgeous places up there. I liked Skagway because it was so much like Tucson. Tell Scott those crab legs look wonderful! Have fun.

Creator God, teach us to enjoy the JOURNEY as much as reaching the destination.
Dear Scott, Ingrid, Savannah, and friends,
Today, take a few minutes to sit in quiet and enjoy what God has created around you. Take a long time to feel the nearness of Jesse, the nearness of the Lord.
Dear Lord, stengthen our trust in your power to help us work for you, even when we feel overwhelmed with heartfelt grief. Help us feel and embrace the nearness of Jesse. Thank you for staying with us in all our days and give us hope to look forward to the moment when we shall see you and Jesse face to face. As we await that day, help us to love generously one another, speak truthfully, and serve faithfully.
You are still ontop of our prayer list, and we love y’all.
    In Christ, hermann
