Ronald McDonald House Needs

As many of you know, the Ronald McDonald House at U of M ~ Mott Children’s Hospital housed us on several occasions when Jesse was in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. It was such a blessing to have a safe, quiet, peaceful place to get away, located right inside the hospital. The room provided access to much needed sleep, and allowed us to take interval shifts so Jesse wouldn’t be left alone.

Not only do they provide a restful place for their guests, but they also provide complimentary toiletries, snacks, hot beverages, washers and dryers…we partook in all of these blessings.

During the summer months the RMH runs low on toothbrushes, shampoo and soap. Our desire is to give back. So, I’ve been collecting trial size toiletries and bundling them in ziplock baggies for the RMH in Ann Arbor.

~Thank you Rhonda!

~Thank you Fenton Family Dentistry for completing our kits by donating 30 new tooth brushes & tooth paste!

A basic kit consists of shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion, toothbrush, toothpaste. Optional: mouthwash, mini face wipes, floss, QTips, etc.

Do you or someone you know travel often for work or pleasure? If so, you may consider donating toiletries acquired during the trip to a Ronald McDonald House in your area. Toiletry kits are not a must. They will gladly take single items.

Below is a link for RMH locations:

*If you have items you would like to donate & just get off of your hands, please feel free to send them to us! We will either package them up into kits and/or deliver as is.

Thank you!

HAPPY FARTHER’S DAY, DAD:):):):):) with my patented smile. I am with you, always, and with you MOM and SIS.
Lord, how good it is to come together with you, all of us. We are here to praise and worship you. Help us this day to be reminded of all your many blessings, especially from this special family and who are blessed and loved by you. O God,you brought us light, love, and life, give us strength and courage to face the troubles in our lives with everlasting faith. We open our hearts to you.
Our congregation prayed for you on this special Sunday. We will not forget you. We love you.
    In Christ, hermann
