Swinging Bats for Leukemia

N.C. knocks it out of the park again! Roxboro Community School ~ Bulldogs and Person High School ~ Rockets played an awesome baseball game Thursday night in honor of our Jesse. The event was a great success with the largest baseball gathering at Person H.S. in history. The community attended to support the players, Jesse and to raise money for the Leukemia/Lymphoma Foundation. DVD movies were collected for The Great Escape project and soda tabs & toiletries were collected for the Ronald McDonald House. Pastor Gerald read our personal appreciation notes & said a prayer before the game. There was also a balloon release in honor, support & memory of Cancer victims.

Thank you so much for coming together as our distant family, honoring loved ones and providing community awareness about cancer in such a wonderful way…We love you!
