A group hug that will be forever burned in my mind…

It’s as if Jesse knew his hours were numbered.  The last weeks of Jesse’s earthly life were so tender, compassionate and mannerly.  He held those most important to him closest with texts, dinner and movie requests.

It was prior to leaving for his dinner with the Harpers that Jesse called me over to his wheelchair to give me a big hug.  He then called over to his sister saying, “Come here Savannah, you get one too!”, and then, “Hey, Dad, group hug!”.  It was at that moment I realized it was probably the last group hug we would ever have, so I held on extra long.  Priceless…

Psalm 106:1 “…Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good!…”

    Blessings for you all…
PTL, as we know Jesse is just sleeping until that resurrection morn……
Our God-indwelled spirits return to HIS presence, delighting in “the fullness of joy” and reveling in the “pleasures forevermore” that are found in abundance at HIS right hand. Psalm 16:11
